After this password recovery process, it is vital that you upgrade to our latest software version, as we no longer support the version of software you are running.ENSURE YOU ARE RUNNING OUR LATEST LITTLE LOGBOOK GLOBAL SOFTWARE V2.2.208.


This password recovery process is only relevant for the Old version 1 software (Little LogBook Global password recovery is by means of security questions)


Scenario's where the password recoveries are required for version 1 software (Old software):

  1. Passwords are required when upgrading from the old software to the new Little LogBook Global software during the vehicle data import phase
  2. You have simply forgotten your password and you are prompted to enter a password
  3. You want to register a new vehicle on a device, but you only have the device, but do not have access to the computer the device was originally loaded on


Regardless of the scenario, you need to follow one of these options to recover the password:


Option 1:

If you have simply forgotten your password and you are asked for a password in a box similar to this one:



...simply enter ANY incorrect password and click OK. Do this 3 times and you will be presented with a box similar to this one:



We need the code in brackets - either take a screenshot of said box or type out the code and send it to support@littlelogbook.net and we will promptly decode it to send you your original password.


Option 2:

Click on the Help button and select About. Double click on the "Dot" of the letter i, in the word "Little" (written in yellow).

Option 3:

If neither of the above produce the recovery code required, please go to the Helpdesk home page and submit a New Support Ticket for assistance. we will need to get a copy of the .llb database files a manual recovery
