Ensure you have downloaded the software and the driver (32-bit or 64-bit, depending on your computer operating settings).
- Open Little LogBook Global software
- Plug in the unit and wait for the device to communicate with the computer
- A screen will pop-up that says welcome fellow logger. Click next and follow the prompts.
- User registration – fill in information of the person that will be using the device.
- User security – allows the user to set questions and answers so that they will easily be able to remember the password.
- Reporting period start month – enter the start month of your financial year or tax season.
- Registration and password must be less than 10 digits.
- If you enter a registration or a password that is more than 10 digits the software might freeze or the device might de-register itself.
- The odometer must be captured accurately, as it reflects on your odometer now. The software will download your trip data and backtrack your odometer reading accordingly.
- You can register as many vehicles as you like on one computer by simply repeating the steps listed above.
- If you have registered more than one vehicle, you can select a specific vehicle using the “Select” button. This will give you a drop-down style selection of your registered and de-registered
- NB: the select button will only be active when there is no device plugged.
- If the select button is not active after unplugging the device, close the software to refresh the memory and re-open it. The select button will be active.
